A Williamsburg Food Adventure with my Brother
Late this morning I'm headed to Williamsburg with my brother for a little food exploration. I know for sure we's going to hit Bonita and Dumont Burger. I wanted to go to Fette Sau, but it doesn't open until five. Any other must stops?

Pies n' Thighs for, if nothing else, a donut...
Marlow & Sons has good baked goods in the day.
Gribouille for one of their Alsatian pizzas...

Thanks. I'm going to add all three of your suggestions to the list. Now we have five, which should be plenty to keep us busy and full.

BEERS! Williamsburg has the best beer of any New York city neighborhood. See when these locations open:
Spuyten Duyvil - see if they have the AleSmith YuleSmith!
Mugs
Reidegast (sp) Biergarten
Wells

i live in the burg and would have told you to check out:
Diner
85 Broadway, beneath W-burg Bridge
(great food for the prices especially if you're a manhattanite)
Fornino
187 Bedford Ave.,
(excellent brick oven pizza. for me, it's my main stay when i just can't get out to Totonno's)
Fortunato Bros
289 Manhattan Ave.,
(for old skool italian bakery style cookie and espresso)

you have to add barcade to your list of beer bars in williamsburg! a rotating list of amazing domestic drafts and 25 cent 80s arcade games to boot.

I'm going to post about it tomorrow morning, but we went to Marlowe & Sons for pastries and coffee, bonita for tacos and burritos, dumont burger for a cheeseburger and french fries, the french bakery for croissants and hot chocolate, and papa lima for a sandwich.
